senior software engineer (AI-driven workflow automation, cloud-native architecture, greenfield)
We’re looking for a Senior Developer to join a greenfield project building a cloud-native solution in .NET, based on microservices, Kubernetes, and AI/ML. The product focuses on automating document workflows — from document processing and data extraction to the follow-up business processes.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys backend development, system design, and solving technical challenges in an environment where not everything is predefined.
What you´ll be working on
You’ll be part of a team building a new product from the ground up. In practice, that means you won’t just be implementing isolated feature requests — you’ll help shape how the entire system is designed and built.
Designing and developing cloud-native backend services in .NET
Co-deciding on microservices architecture and the overall technical direction of the product
Working with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-based application operations
Implementing AI/ML-driven features such as document recognition, data extraction, and workflow automation
Finding technically sound solutions to problems that don’t have textbook answers
Collaborating closely with a product-focused team that expects autonomy and ownership from senior engineers
why this might excite you
This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to “code to spec.” It’s an opportunity for someone who enjoys:
Greenfield development and making the right design decisions from the start
Backend and distributed systems that must be scalable, reliable, and maintainable
Applying AI in a real-world product
Technical autonomy and the ability to influence what gets built and why
Solving complex workflows, integrations, and business processes with direct customer impact
what you should bring
Strong experience with .NET / C#
Proven experience designing and building backend systems and APIs
Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture, ideally in a microservices environment
Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
Solid understanding of system architecture, integrations, and application operations
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical application
The ability to independently evaluate solution options and balance speed, quality, and long-term sustainability
Experience with React is a plus, but the primary focus of this role is backend and architecture
What you can expect from artin
No micromanagement — trust isn’t a perk, it’s the foundation of how we work
Open communication and direct, constructive feedback
The opportunity to influence both the technical direction and ways of working
A team used to having thoughtful discussions and striving for the best solutions
Flexibility and a remote setup, with occasional in-person meetups
If working on a new product at the intersection of backend, cloud, and AI sounds exciting to you, we’d love to talk :).
