ARTIN was created before Google was founded in 1998 and we derived its name from "Artificial Intelligence". At the time, our two founding fathers (Jan Najvarek and Tomas Ondracek) were finishing their PhDs in AI and believed that AI would one day fundamentally change the world. They didn't know if it would be ten or twenty years from now, but they were sure of its potential. And it was this vision and personal motivation that led to the founding of ARTIN.
They wanted their company name to start with an "A" because if you wanted to be seen in 1998, you had to be at the beginning of the Yellow Pages. :)
over 25 years developing solutions with real impact
One of our first projects was for ManuLife. They had a complex insurance calculation application that was difficult to deploy. Our team came in and simplified, streamlined and made the entire system significantly more efficient.
It was then that we realized that our real mission was not just to "fix" technology, but to find and solve the real business problems behind it.
