COMMUNITY EVENT

CALIBRATION

Where AI Stands Today, Where You Stand, and What to Do Tomorrow

A full-day community gathering for IT directors and digital transformation managers at manufacturing companies, for CTOs and IT leaders at technology firms, and for anyone responsible for AI initiatives within their organization.

Practitioners will openly share what they’ve tried, what worked, and what didn’t. You’ll walk away with ideas for things you’ll do differently by Thursday morning—whether you’re just getting started or already well into the process.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2026 · PULSE8, PRAGUE-KARLÍN · 9:00 A.M. TO 11:00 P.M. · 50 PEOPLE WHO HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY

Martin Uher

Interim Chief Information Officer, VAFO

Why not skip this event?

These days, there are more conferences on AI than there are actual completed projects. Demos are shown on stage, while companies are grappling with quite different challenges: who’s allowed to upload a contract to ChatGPT, how to train an accountant who isn’t interested in working with AI, and how to answer the CFO’s question about how much money it will actually generate.

That’s why we’ve invited people who are tackling these issues in their own companies and given them a platform to talk about what worked and what didn’t. You’ll meet AI leaders from both manufacturing and technology companies, from Prague and Brno. There will be about fifty of us—no booths and no sales pitches. You’ll leave knowing exactly what you need to do differently and better starting tomorrow.

event program

We'll publish the detailed program and list of speakers no later than 14 days before the event. But we already know there's a lot to look forward to.

Before You Give AI Access to Your Company's Data and Information

The Second Brain: Order First, Then AI
Jaroslav Müller and Michal Bahník from ARTIN will demonstrate how to organize company documents, guidelines, and know-how so that AI can work with them correctly and securely.

How to Get AI Accepted by People Who Aren’t Interested in It
, Václav Šlajs from Y Soft, on adoption outside of IT—in sales, HR, and finance. What worked, what didn’t, and how to work with both skeptics and enthusiasts who would let AI handle everything.

AI Security Without Legal Jargon

We won’t be discussing the AI Act or ISO standards. Security experts will show you how to meet legal requirements in practice, how to prevent data from leaking out of production, how attackers test corporate AI agents, and how to find out which AI tools your employees are using without your knowledge. You’ll leave with a list of things you can implement right away.

How to Justify and Monitor an AI Budget

Three experts who have dealt with this issue firsthand and how they addressed it. How to calculate ROI when baseline data is missing, what’s worth paying for, and when it’s better to halt a project. This will be a moderated panel discussion.

networking, discussions

Throughout the day and into the evening, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to continue discussing the topics covered on stage directly with the speakers themselves in an informal setting.

VÁCLAV ŠLAJS

Head of IT, Y SOFT

Kvůli téhle úrovni lidí přijdu i příště.

Who This Event Is For

For IT directors and digital transformation managers at manufacturing companies, for CTOs, CDOs, development leads, and AI leaders who have suddenly found themselves tasked with a time-sensitive AI project. Simply put, for anyone in charge of AI at their company.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re just figuring out who’s using what in your company or already have your first agents up and running. This session will be useful for you, whether you’re at the very beginning or anywhere in the middle of the process.

You don’t need to know how to code, but there will be some more technical details as well.

MATĚJ ŠTEFANÍK

AI that works

“It’s perfect for people who want to take their team or company to the next level—the name ‘CTO Brunch’ is pretty spot-on. I met people there I didn’t know before and left with real-world examples I hadn’t even imagined.”

ANTON WIEDERMANN, ENG.

RegioJet, Director of Development

“A technical meetup for people in leadership roles. Less focus on implementation details, more on practical application: results and real-world use. And great networking to top it off.”

What You'll Take Away

For example:

  • A Guide to Organizing Your Company’s Data Before You Let AI Access It

  • A list of security steps you can take during your first week

  • Arguments and statistics for your next meeting with management

  • Contacts for people who are dealing with the same issues as you

VÁCLAV ŠLAJS

Y SOFT, Head of IT

“What stood out to me most from past sessions was how they work with data at Kiwi.com. They explained it right there at the table, and we’re testing it now. I go there for specific things like that, which I can try out right away at our company.”

LIBOR SKYDÁNEK

Cisco, Engineering Manager

“A friendly discussion about AI among a small group of people from companies based in Brno: what works for us, what doesn’t, and what problems we’re tackling. No lectures—just an exchange of experiences with a technology for which none of us has a perfect solution.”

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ARTIN?

The event is free. There won’t be any sales pitches. We want to talk to people who are committed to ensuring that AI truly works in their companies—and who don’t just want to check it off their list once they’ve made Claude or another tool available to their teams. Why? Because sharing insights can help, and we’ll learn a lot more about the real challenges the market is facing.

We regularly meet at CTO brunches in Prague and Brno, but now we want to bring both worlds together and dive deeper into the topic.

See you on NOVEMBER 18!
