COMMUNITY CTO BRUNCH IN PRAGUE

AI ISN'T JUST FOR DEVELOPMENT: HOW TO INTEGRATE IT INTO THE REST OF THE COMPANY WITHOUT GOING CRAZY

Everyone is talking about AI these days. But we don’t hear as often from the people who make decisions about it within their own companies—and who have no reason to sugarcoat anything.

The Prague CTO Brunch is a closed-door gathering of technology leaders. No slides, no presentations, no sales pitches. Just a brief, practical overview, followed by a discussion where people talk just as often about what didn’t work as about what did.

The attendees include both those who lead development and those who commission it. A transportation company sits next to an insurance company; a manufacturer next to a SaaS provider. Different industries, same questions.

The goal is to leave with a different perspective on one’s own situation, not with yet another general summary about AI.

Who This Event Is For

For people who:

  • are involved in decisions about AI and technology within their own company, not just in their implementation

  • can engage in a discussion about what went wrong without worrying that someone will use it against them

  • are tackling a real-world problem, not just pursuing a theoretical interest in AI

  • come to listen and contribute, not just sit through a presentation

Typically: CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Engineering, AI leads, Innovation Managers, etc.

This time, we're tackling:

  • What will your customers be willing to pay for (and what will you be willing to pay for) once coding becomes cheaper and faster for almost everyone,

  • How do you currently estimate and price custom development,

  • How do you manage the expectations of customers who hear that AI makes development orders of magnitude faster and cheaper?

We select additional topics based on suggestions from participants in previous brunches.

What does it look like?

  • a small group, usually up to 10–12 people

  • around a single table, with no stage or audience

  • a moderated discussion

  • followed by informal networking

This isn’t a one-time event. People keep coming back to the brunch and stay in touch with each other even outside of it.
